Shipping Information

CinemaTechnic ships precision cinema equipment within the United States. International shipping is currently paused as of June 25, 2026 — see the International Shipping section below for details.

Shipping Terms: Ex Works (EXW)

All sales are Ex Works (EXW) from our facility in the United States. The buyer assumes full responsibility for the shipment from the point of handover, including all shipping costs, insurance, export and import clearance, customs duties, and taxes. CinemaTechnic will assist with documentation preparation but bears no liability for the shipment once it has left our facility.

As a courtesy to our customers, CinemaTechnic does not charge handling fees on standard orders. Under our Ex Works terms the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, however we absorb the cost of order preparation and handling as a courtesy. We simply ask for your patience while we carefully prepare your order for shipment and while it makes its way to you.

Domestic Shipping: United States

CinemaTechnic ships within the United States via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx depending on the shipment. All domestic shipments include full tracking and insurance for the declared value of the item. Orders are carefully prepared and packed before dispatch. We are also able to ship using the client's own shipping account upon request.

For questions about domestic shipping or to discuss specific requirements for your order, please contact us directly.

🌍 International Shipping

Effective June 25, 2026, CinemaTechnic is temporarily pausing new international orders. This policy is under regular review, and we anticipate resuming international shipping in the future.

If you have already placed an international order, there is no cause for concern — all orders placed prior to June 25, 2026 will be fulfilled as normal. If you have any questions about an existing order, please contact us at jorge@cinematechnic.com.

📦

Packaging

All items are professionally packed with appropriate protective materials. Precision optical equipment — including lens mounts, camera components, and service tools — receives special care including foam padding, double-boxing where appropriate, and fragile labeling.

🛡️

Insurance

As all sales are Ex Works (EXW), insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Upon request, CinemaTechnic will arrange shipment insurance on behalf of the buyer at the buyer's cost. We strongly recommend insurance on all shipments, particularly for high-value items. In the unlikely event of damage or loss during transit, CinemaTechnic will assist the buyer in filing a claim with the carrier.

Customs and Import Duties

Note: As international shipping is currently paused, this section applies once international orders resume.

CinemaTechnic accurately declares the full value and nature of all shipments on customs documentation. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and vary by country and item value.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority prior to purchase if you have questions about applicable import costs for your country. Please be aware that CinemaTechnic reserves the right to decline shipment to destinations where import regulations place unreasonable administrative or financial burdens on the sender. CinemaTechnic is unable to mark items as gifts or declare values lower than the actual sale price on customs documentation.
